Micro-Doppler Feature Extraction of Rotating Structures of Aircraft Targets with Terahertz Radar

The micro-Doppler features formed by the micro-motion of rotating blades rotors and turbines are great significance for aircraft target detection recognition. Mastering is premise radar identification. blades’ length rotation rate vital parameters classifying targets. One can instantly judge type state targets extracting features. To extract turbine target, we utilized microwave-band terahertz-band to simulate Doppler frequency-shift information. For a model with an obvious blade tip structure, propose algorithm based on wavelet coefficient enhancement inverse Radon transform, integrating time–frequency analysis image processing. Under low SNR, this method allows high-accuracy parameter estimate. two-bladed rotor without conducted actual measurement experiment utilizing 120 GHz radar, estimation fitting distribution. By data diagram, characteristic were obtained. simulation experimental results demonstrate benefits terahertz in detection, indicate that proposed algorithms have characteristics high extraction precision insensitivity noise.
